If you have an environmentalist point of view on construction, this liquid solution is made by chemically activating the CO2 gas to form a new concrete chemical admixture. This does not only contribute to the reduction of greenhouse gas emission but also improves the early age strength hardening of your concrete sample. The results of the compressive test conducted on the samples made by this chemical admixture show a high 36 MPa strength at the age of 7 days. The main application of the present product is in the use of recycled aggregate in concrete. Interfacial Transitional Zone (ITZ) on the surface of the recycled aggregate is known as the main weak point which makes poor-performing mechanical properties for the untreated concrete samples. The acid treatment of such aggregate is scientifically proved to be one of the promising ways to enhance the mechanical performance of recycled concrete. The high pH recorded form the current product is, in fact, facilitates the acid treatment of the recycled aggregate in the concrete mix by providing consistent quality.
