  • Check the daily weather forecast from the Bureau of Meteorology for wind speed as long as the stack is about to be on the racks.
  • A safety factor of 2 had been considered for this compliance checking i.e. the wind load calculated in this app is twice the actual wind load.
  • A nominal friction coefficient of 0.64 between rubber and steel in dry conditions is considered in this calculator. The actual friction coefficient varies on wet surfaces.
