It will be a privilege to have you among us!
We are currently seeking lawyers who can help our overseas applicants with their Temporary Skill Shortage (subclass 482) visa nomination.
Description of the workflow
As you may already know, COVID had taken a huge toll on the Australian construction workforce. Many small businesses (tradies) are currently facing a labour shortage as a result and we are being contacted by the tradies multiple times on a daily basis to fulfill this gap. On the other side, in the past 6 months, we have received over 900 applications from overseas construction workers who wish to start their professional careers in Australia. That is why the Institute of Construction Materials believes that with your help together we will be able to address this labour shortage in the industry.
The Institute of Construction Materials, as a non-profit organization acts as an intermediary to connect local tradies to the overseas labour market to help strengthen the Australian construction industry. We provide employment and send candidates to the construction job sites once they arrive in Sydney. However, since the Institute as a non-profit organization does not fit into the definition of “Standard Business” we have to outsource the TSS 482 nomination to a partnering standard business that you have previously registered.
During our collaboration, you will be given the applicant’s details and documentation to prepare and lodge their TSS 482 visa nomination (Only the nomination). Lawyers choose their recommended Standard Business based on their previous working arrangements i.e. if you have previously registered a Standard Business, it is best to direct our selected applicants to them.
