VR Project Manager

Your main duties will be establishing a VR department to enhance innovation in online education. You are supposed to adjust the software created in your company for our clients, first of all, educational applications for training construction workers. You are expected to develop advanced educational systems and curricula, create educational materials, produce online courses, training enrolled students, and conduct research.

Construction HR officer / Labour hire

As a HR officer/Labour hire agent you will be requested to train your existing applicants using our online courses. Successful candidates must have construction companies as their current clients. Together, we endeavour in educating the workforce in a way to address the future needs of the construction industry. Creativity is at the heart of this role.

Requirements

  • Strong background in labour hire within the construction industry;
  • Qualification in human resources management (preferred);
  • Have company clients seeking to employ new staff members.

Hiring and budget

This is a contract-based position that requires 4-10 hours of work per week. The remuneration package includes 70% of the training income and 5% of workers’ total working hours as commission.

Communication officer

As a communication officer, you will be responsible to arrange Zoom meetings with current members, potential clients, and students. In addition, you will be given admin access to a few of our social media channels for content creation. It is important to understand the working environment in which we are operating in order to be able to create relevant social media content. This role is delivered on a work-from-home basis.

Requirements

  • Strong academic background with experience in customer service and administrative roles;
  • A good taste in graphic design;
  • Have regular access to a computer;
  • And of course strong communication skills.

Hiring and budget

This is a contract-based position that requires 4 hours of work per week. The remuneration package includes $100 weekly salary payment for a duration of three months.

Construction worker

As an engineer, you will be working with our industry partners across various construction sites. The core responsibilities associated with this role are research and development. The right candidate must have a passion for product development and automating manual procedures. That being said, still you are required to carry out so much of physical work because of the nature of the industry. Having computer programming skills will help you progress in this role much faster. You must be physically strong and willing to travel between different sites.

Hiring and budget

This is an ongoing casual position. The remuneration package includes $27 per hour salary with the opportunity to become a permanent employment.

Digital marketing specialist

As a digital marketing specialist, you are mainly organizing Zoom meetings with potential clients, promoting the Institute’s services to a broader community, and running focused marketing campaigns. This position is delivered on a hybrid basis i.e. you can choose either to work from home or attend our office upon request.

Hiring and budget

This casual position is served within the two months terms of the contract. You are required to work 4 hours a week. The remuneration package includes $25 per hour salary with the opportunity to become permanent employment.

Editorial board member

The Journal of Construction Materials as a means of communicating the research outcomes in the relevant field of studies is now looking for high level academics as reviewers to help in assessing the quality of the articles being submitted for publication. The right applicant may be able to receive 2 articles per issue for the journal. The workflow is in such a way that once an article was submitted, the Editor in Chief directs the article to the relevant reviewers who are expertising in the field in which the article had been written. This position is beneficial as you might already know that having citations and a high h-index helps promotions on the academic ladder.

Online course instructor

As an online course instructor, it is expected from you to demonstrate both outstanding research and teaching skills. You’ll be provided with training in regards to uploading your course content online on the present website.  For any enrollments, you are obliged to 2 hours of online tutoring for each student.  Please, select the title of the online course you’re about to instruct from the list of the research topics available here.
